Pioneer in the wire industry in 1950

On April 14, 1950, Taiwan Pacific Wire and Cable Co., Ltd. was founded in Taipei. Adhering to the concept of honest operation of Sun Gongfa, the founder of Yongguang Wire Factory during the Beiping era, and with the development strategy of "based in Taiwan and facing the world", Taiping Pacific Wire and Cable Co., Ltd. has become a pioneer in the wire and cable industry in Taiwan.

In 1964, the company made its first international foray and established Singapore Malaysia Cable Co., Ltd. in Singapore. Now, the group's subsidiaries are located in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Ningbo, Singapore, Thailand, Australia and other countries on both sides of the strait.

In the era of the barrier between the two banks, Pacific Wire and Cable Co., Ltd. led the development of Taiwan's cable industry and provided a full range of wire and cable products for the construction and development needs of Baodao Taiwan from the 1950s to the present. The quality assurance has been consistent for 68 years.

In 1978, the mainland underwent reform and opening up, and in 1987, exchanges began between the two banks. The company planned to establish a mainland wire and cable factory, and in 1995, Pacific Wire and Cable (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. was officially established.
